With fraud on the rise, it can sometimes be hard to determine who you are really talking to. You can be sure you are talking to a UMassFive representative by following these tips.

We are always here to help over the phone; by text message or email; through Online Banking Secure Messaging; or in person. Please note: UMassFive will only contact you through these channels. We will never request that you verify sensitive information like card, account, or pin number.

In contrast, a fraudulent representative might call regarding some problem with your account that you are unaware of, and ask that you confirm or provide sensitive account-specific information to rectify the problem. Or, they might create a warning popup on your computer to gain your attention. We will never contact you through third party apps. If you are ever unsure about a communication claiming to be from UMassFive, contact us as soon as possible at 413.256.5500 or come to a branch during our open hours.
