Supervisory Committee Updates
We’re pleased to announce that Shane Conklin, Associate Vice Chancellor, Facilities & Campus Services at UMass Amherst was appointed as the new Chair of the UMassFive Supervisory Committee, following Ellen Rutan’s retirement at the end of 2024.
Jillian McGrath, Controller & Associate Treasurer, Smith College, was appointed to replace Ellen on the committee.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ellen Rutan for her many years of dedicated service. Her time, guidance, and expertise have been invaluable to the committee and to the Credit Union as a whole. Thank you, Ellen, for your unwavering commitment to our members. We wish you all the best in your retirement!

58th Annual Meeting Recap
